Pet Digestive Enzymes

Dogs and cats are carnivores by nature. A carnivorous diet is rich in natural enzymes and complex nutrients present in the raw food consumed. The natural enzymes in a raw diet allow the animal to digest and utilize the nutrients properly to maintain resilient health without taxing their own body to produce excessive digestive enzymes. Pet foods, even high quality pet foods, typically are cooked or processed which depletes them of their natural enzymes. Pet foods are also lacking in certain nutrients (fatty acids, antioxidants, vitamins and minerals) which are essential for maintaining pet health. Enzyme and nutritional deficiencies can cause illnesses and degenerative diseases.

Foods lacking natural enzymes do not digest properly, do not make all of their nutrients available, and put strain the animal's system to provide stored enzymes to complete the digestive process to the extent possible. Undigested foods are breeding grounds for undesirable bacteria in the large intestine. These undesirable bacteria are known to cause certain infections, and can release toxins which are absorbed by the animal through the wall of the intestine. These toxins can cause a variety of destructive actions on tissue throughout the animal's body which induces illness and degenerative disease.

Pet Digestive Enzymes are designed specifically for dogs and cats to offset the loss of natural enzymes caused by cooked and processed pet foods. Pet Digestive Enzymes allow the animal to digest and utilize nutrients properly to maintain resilient health without taxing their own body to produce excessive digestive enzymes.

Pet Digestive Enzymes contain Amylase, Protease, Maltase, Lipase, Cellulase, Sucrase, and a special blend of complex nutrients, vitamins, minerals, fatty acids, antioxidants, and live cultures of Lactobacillus in a soluble whole food base. With Natural Choice Products Pet Digestive Enzymes your pet will get more from its food and receive more of the nutritional elements needed to maintain a strong immune system and better overall health.

Because enzymes facilitate more thorough digestion and utilization of food, other benefits may be noticed such as lower food intake, less droppings, less flatulence and lower odor from droppings.
