I was almost eight weeks pregnant with our fourth child when I began bleeding with the pregnancy. We’d already been through one miscarriage and my heart sank. It was just after Thanksgiving when I sought counsel from a friend who suggested I try the Nutritional Essentials to balance my endocrine system and Multiple Digestive Enzymes for general healing, along with a green food supplement (which I was already taking) and a flax-based supplement.
Everything was happening so fast that I believe the baby was already gone before the NCP products ever arrived. Since I didn’t know for sure, I began the intense regimen with great earnest, putting something nutritional into my body every hour or two. I detoxified heavily for a couple of days, then I began to feel better than I had ever felt in my life. I could hardly believe that I was losing our precious baby, when I felt so positive, peaceful, hopeful and calm. My mind was so clear! I continued this intense regimen until a sonogram showed that our baby had died. I determined to continue the supplements at a slower pace in hopes of easing the pain of the labor I fully expected to come.
Christmas came and went. Family and friends became concerned for my health. I assured them I felt wonderful and was experiencing no signs of trouble. Through much prayer, my husband and I decided to go against counsel to see a doctor for a D&C. Three or four weeks stretched by as my bleeding tapered instead of increasing and no contractions ever came. We decided it was time for a second sonogram. I held my breath as the sonographer scanned my belly. She simply remarked: “This is your uterus. It is totally closed. Everything is gone.” My body had absorbed all of the tissue and pregnancy fluids! I was in a grateful daze. I believe with all of my heart that the Lord spared me and my husband a painful delivery by using the NCP products to help my body heal itself. Through my grief I was able to embrace joy and to realize the truth of the Scripture, “There is joy in the mourning.” Thank you, NCP.
Note: Since that time, I have experienced more balanced moods, stronger and faster growing nails, clearer skin and fewer allergy symptoms.
